Janet Thommeny to make House of Keys bid
A sixth candidate has announced their intention to stand for Douglas North in September's General Election.
Janet Thommeny is a retired mental health professional and also spent 10 years as a Douglas City Councillor.
If elected, she says her priorities will be immigration, creating opportunities for the Island's young people, and housing.
Also standing in the constituency are David Ashford, Jason Cheetham, Damian Ciappelli, Peter Washington and Hugo Yates.
The General Election is taking place on Thursday, 24 September.
