900 customers to be affected from midnight
Manx Utilities says around 900 of its customers in Douglas will be without water supply tonight.
The organisation will be moving some residents of Douglas promenade onto a new water main at midnight, with the process expected to take around four hours.
During this time, Manx Utilities says, the water supply will be shut off and may cause low pressure, or even no water.
Notifications have been sent to all of the properties affected.
