Douglas prom works 'worse for businesses than Covid'

Delayed project now due to be finished in November

A business owner on Douglas promenade says the ongoing refurbishment scheme has been worse for businesses than the Covid-19 pandemic.

The delayed project was due to complete in September but has now been pushed back to November.

The Department of Infrastructure has also confirmed it will need up to four weeks for work on a 70 metre section of tramway which is 'outstanding'.
