The Department of Infrastructure is reminding people to take heed of its drink-driving campaign in the run-up to the New Year.
This year’s campaign began in November and runs throughout this week until January – seven drivers have so far been charged.
Road Safety manager Gordon Edwards says a leaflet distributed as part of the campaign contains a comprehensive list of taxi numbers to call.
And he says people should bear in mind their options after they’ve had a drink:
Vote on Castle Rushen High School funding 'very unlikely' before election
Ramsey Commissioners to host public meeting about cottage hospital
WCAS reuse garages to reopen on trial basis
Manannan's morning sailings cancelled due to weather conditions
