
The Department of Infrastructure is reminding people to take heed of its drink-driving campaign in the run-up to the New Year.
This year’s campaign began in November and runs throughout this week until January – seven drivers have so far been charged.
Road Safety manager Gordon Edwards says a leaflet distributed as part of the campaign contains a comprehensive list of taxi numbers to call.
And he says people should bear in mind their options after they’ve had a drink:
