Crashed her car while almost three times over the limit
A Peel woman will be sentenced next month after crashing her car while almost three times over the drink-drive limit.
Forty-eight-year-old Beth Houston-McMillan, of Ballellis on the Ballawattleworth Estate, appeared before magistrates at Douglas courthouse.
She admitted drink-driving on 12 May, and the hearing was told she’d crashed her car before a blood test showed she was so drunk she could face a five-year driving ban.
Her case was adjourned for pre-sentencing reports to be prepared, and she was bailed until her next court appearance on 17 October.
