Car and van involved in collision
A driver had to be cut from their car following a crash in Ballaugh on Thursday afternoon.
A Vauxhall Signum and a Renault van were involved in a collision on the main road through the village, just outside the Raven pub next to Ballaugh bridge, just after 2pm.
The driver of the Vauxhall was treated by ambulance crews while fire officers cut the roof off the car and was then taken to Noble's hospital.
The van driver was treated for minor arm injuries at the scene.
The road was closed while the crash was dealt with.
