Liverpool man faces heroin charges
A man charged with drugs offences after police seized heroin with a street value of more than £4,000 has been remanded in custody.
Twenty-seven year-old John Slater from Liverpool is accused of three counts of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply and one of possessing a class B drug.
The man, together with 38-year-old Kelly Thompson from Douglas, is also charged with money laundering by attempting to conceal criminal property.
Mr Slater has been committed to a court of general gaol and Miss Thompson bailed - both will appear again later this month.
