OFT issues warning
Condom manufacturer Durex has issued a recall of its non-latex products.
Certain batches of the 'Real Feel' and 'Latex Free' range currently on the market, have failed to meet requirements for 'burst pressure'.
A limited number of those with December 2020 and February 2021 expiry dates are believed to be affected.
Although there is no immediate safety concern, consumers are advised there could be an increase in the number of condoms that burst during application or use.
Always read the label which states 'Should a condom leak or burst during use, seek doctor or pharmacist assistance as soon as possible, at least within 72 hrs.'
