Early morning speed warning

No chance of offenders being under the radar

Police have warned early-bird bikers there is no 'safe' time to speed during the TT fortnight.

Officers are being stationed on the Mountain Course with radar guns as early as 5am.

Many bikers take advantage of the quieter roads and early sunrises at this time of year.

But the Constabulary's Roads Policing Unit insists 'speed limits apply 24/7' and reckless riders will be dealt with accordingly.
