Eastern Airways returns

Airline picks up two of Citywing routes

An airline has moved quickly to replace two of the routes operated by Citywing.

After the Manx based company went into liquidation on Friday night, Eastern Airways has stepped in to run services to both Newcastle and Belfast City from Ronaldsway.

Once a day weekday services on a 29-seat Jetstream 41 aircraft will start on Monday with fares from £99 one way. The UK regional airline operated services to the Island between 2004 and 2009.
