Former Onchan MHK believes her 'eagle eye' will be missed
A former Onchan MHK says she will be carrying on with her whistleblowing work after losing her seat in today’s General Election.
Julie Edge wasn’t returned by her constituents after 10 years in post.
Instead it was newcomer Rachel Glover and Ms Edge’s former colleague Rob Callister who were elected.
Dr Glover topped the poll with 1,245 votes with Mr Callister securing 1,103.

Speaking after the result was announced Ms Edge told Manx Radio she felt she’d worked ‘really hard’ for the people of Onchan:
