Insists Island teachers aren't worse off than those in UK
The education minister believes pay for Manx teachers is on a par with those in the UK.
Teachers union NASUWT has asked the Manx Industrial Relations Service to review the latest pay offer for its members, claiming it leaves them 20% worse off than those working in English schools, and 30% down compared to a decade ago.
Pay for teachers on the Island is set by a UK body.
