Police appealing for witnesses to Albany Road incident
An elderly man's been taken to hospital after a collision in Peel last night.
It happened just before 7 o'clock on Albany Road, in an incident involving a single vehicle and the pedestrian.
The road was closed for a number of hours while a forensic collision investigation took place.
Police are thanking the residents in the area for their understanding and have apologised for any inconvenience caused, particularly due to the investigation continuing into the early hours.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses in the area or any person that may have dash cam travelling along Albany Road or Tynwald Road, Peel between 6:40-6:55pm to contact any member of the Roads Policing Unit, quoting reference number 97/7506/23.
