Report before Tynwald no later than March 2024
We may see the development of digital voting here in the Isle of Man for use in future elections.
That's according to a written answer from the Cabinet Office Minister Kate Lord-Brennan.
She was asked whether its development was a priority and what work has been undertaken to facilitate voting on smart devices by Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh.
Mrs Lord-Brennan confirmed the Electoral Commission are 'considering the use of technology as part of the voting process'.
A report is due to be laid before Tynwald no later than March 2024.
