A company hoping to rival the Steam Packet is holding a public meeting at the end of the week to discuss its plans.
The Ellan Vannin line is hoping to provide freight services later this year before moving into a full passenger service from next April.
But the company is holding a meeting in the pavilion at Noble’s Park on Friday, when company director Captain Kurt Buchholz will talk about the service.
The meeting starts at 6pm.
