Legislation comes into effect on New Year's Day
New legislation will aim to tackle discrimination against 'hidden' disabilities, as well as 'visible' ones.
That's according to government's equality champion, Jane Poole-Wilson MLC.
Laws which come into effect on 1 January also address discrimination on grounds of age, and gender.
