Petition draws under 2,000 names
A campaign to allow Crown Dependencies a vote in the upcoming EU membership referendum has failed.
Actor and Island resident John Rhys-Davies launched a petition at the start of Feburary - but it required 10,000 signatures to garner a government response.
The deadline to register to vote in the June 23 referendum was midnight.
Only 1,989 people officially supported the move to give the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey a vote.
