Business Leader Forum will be held next week at the Comis
Local businesses are being invited to attend a special event at the Comis Hotel next week.
On Monday (29 September) an 'Ex-Military Talent in the Workplace Business Leader Forum' will be held from 8.30am to 11am.
Hosted by the UK’s Ministry of Defence, with support from Locate Isle of Man, the event will highlight the wide range of transferable skills and qualifications veterans offer, and how they can help address skills shortages across all sectors, from entry-level positions to senior roles.
From leadership, teamwork and project planning to technical expertise, problem-solving under pressure and a strong commitment to safety and compliance, organisers say ex-service personnel 'bring proven experience, adaptability, discipline and integrity, directly benefitting modern workplaces'.
