Legal teams to make final submissions next week
Dr Rosalind Ranson’s employment tribunal against the Department of Health and Social Care has finished hearing from witnesses.
It follows two weeks of hearings about the medical director’s work and relationships with her colleagues during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Legal teams for both parties will exchange documents next week, with the tribunal reconvening on Friday for their final submissions.
Dr Ranson alleges she was unfairly dismissed from her role for whistleblowing, something the DHSC denies.
