Exhibition showcases many talents of Manx designer

'Archibald Knox: Artist, Designer, Teacher' opens at Manx Museum

A new exhibition featuring works by an internationally renowned Manx designer never before displayed on the Isle of Man has opened to the public today.

'Archibald Knox: Artist, Designer, Teacher' aims to showcase all aspects of the artist's talents, including his designs for Liberty, paintings, and sketches.

Organised by the Archibald Knox Forum, it's situated in the Cabinet of Curiosities in the Manx Museum.

Co-founder of the forum, Chris Hobdell, says much of the Knox's work was inspired by the Isle of Man.

The exhibition runs until 13 January next year, and is accompanied by a programme of free events highlighting aspects of the artist and designer's work.

Full details of those can be found on the Manx National Heritage website.
