The Island’s FA is to investigate after violence marred a Canada Life Premier League game yesterday (Saturday).
Trouble erupted on the pitch at Glen Road in Laxey during the match with St Johns, which ended in a 3-2 win for the home side.
One man received facial injuries, and the referee booked ten players, sending another two off.
Police were called when more trouble flared after the match.
The Football Association will receive the referee’s report this week, and decide what course of action to take after reviewing it.
