Decision to wear one 'altruistic' says Dr Ewart
The director of Public Health says the decision to wear a face mask during the Covid-19 pandemic is “an altruistic one”.
In Jersey, residents are now being advised to use cloth face masks when going into public, after a U-turn in advice from senior medical professionals there.
Speaking at a press conference this week, Dr Henrietta Ewart said it’s good for people to do so, as long as they’re aware of the actual benefits:
