Family appeal for Stuart's funeral

Well wishers asked to wear blue in his memory

The family of Stuart Baggs is inviting people to wear blue to his funeral which will take place next week.

The businessman and reality TV star will be laid to rest next Friday, August 21, at St Ninian's Church in Douglas at 2pm.

The 27 year old died from an asthma attack at his home in Spectrum Apartments on Douglas promenade almost two weeks ago.

His family is now appealing to people who’d like to pay their respects at the service to wear blue – in keeping with a Facebook tribute page they set up in his memory.

On the Wear Blue for Stu page, his family say they’ve been overwhelmed by the love and support from wellwishers following Stuart’s death.

And they’re now requesting those attending the service wear any shade of blue to commemorate his life.

The Facebook post adds more details about funeral arrangements will be released shortly.

The page, set up shortly after Stuart’s death, has collected dozens of photographs and garnered more than 1,500 likes.
