
The end of direct flights to Southampton will mean the loss of a vital air link for one Island family.
Flybe hasn’t officially confirmed it’s ending its route to Southampton, but has been contacting passengers saying it won’t run flights after Sunday, July 21.
Malcolm Lambert’s elderly parents live in Portsmouth and use the route to stay in touch.
But he says they won’t be able to find alternatives:
