Peter Quayle will be sworn in on Friday
The new Captain of the Parish of Malew says it's an honour to take on the role following the death of Roy Gelling.
Farmer Peter Quayle, whose father and grandfather previously served as captains of Marown, will officially be sworn in on Friday, having been selected to fill the vacancy by the Lieutenant Governor.
Mr Gelling, who died in November, had held the position since 1996.
