It's that time of year again when local farmers are working round the clock as the lambing season gets underway.
In recent years what should be a highlight of the farming year has too often been marred by horrific incidents of sheep worrying in all parts of the Island.
Paul Costain who has Moorhouse Farm in Colby, says even friendly dogs can cause sheep to panic.
Stress can separate ewes from their lambs which in some cases leads to injury or death.
