A Colby teenager has appeared in court today (Thursday) after admitting three charges relating to a fatal car crash.
Nineteen year-old Andrew Reeday, from Ballakillowey, has pleaded guilty to allowing a friend drive his car without insurance or a licence.
It follows a crash on the Switchback Road in March in which 14-year-old schoolgirl Lucia Porter was killed.
Mr Reeday, who has been bailed, has also pleaded guilty to wasting police time after telling officers he was driving on the night of the tragedy.
The 18 year-old who was driving the car, Craig Bridgewater from Peel, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been bailed until a week today – July the 31st.
