A 91-year-old woman died in a flat fire in Peel overnight on Wednesday, police have confirmed.
They add a man from the same property on Battery Road is in a serious condition in Noble's Hospital.
Officers have passed on their condolences to the family and request they are afforded privacy at this difficult time.
