Focus in on Norwegian liberation struggle
The relationship between the Isle of Man and Norway during World War Two will be explored this evening (Wed).
‘Fear, Flight and Freedom’ is the title of a talk by Dr Sue Nicol at Elmwood House behind the St John Ambulance Centre; off Glencrutchery Road in Douglas, at 6pm.
It will focus on the Island’s role in Norway’s liberation struggle, and details how the Island was a staging post for Norwegians fleeing their occupied country.
