
Potentially one-third of trees in the Island's plantations could have to be felled to try and prevent a disease spreading.
That's the stark warning from Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne.
Sudden Oak Death - Phytophthora Ramorum - is currently affecting larch trees on the Island.
Mr Gawne says the fear is it won't stop there, though:
