Lights originally used on the prom will be repurposed
Douglas Borough Council has confirmed plans to install festoon lighting along the South Quay.
More than £24,000 to complete the installation was secured at last week's council sitting.
Lights originally used on Douglas Promenade will be repurposed.
Member for Environmental Services Falk Horning says it's a worthwhile investment for the town:
Island falls silent to remember them
Two-minute silence held to mark Remembrance Sunday
Average wait of 11 weeks for Disability Living Allowance claims
Reduction in overall average since summer
Man sexually assaulted woman as she slept on beach
Deemster brands assault "quite horrific"
Appeal for Onchan FC memorabilia
Plan to furnish new club house with memories
