Telecoms company reaches 70% coverage
Manx Telecom says it’s around a year ahead of schedule in connecting the Isle of Man to high speed internet.
It’s working with government as part of the National Broadband Plan to deliver fibre broadband past more than 99 per cent of the Island’s premises.
The telecoms company estimates it’s now reached 70 per cent and, so far, it's cost around £50 million.
MT has funded around 80 per cent of the project.
