Rushes at South Barrule summit
The ancient tradition of taking rushes up South Barrule on the eve of Tynwald Day is the subject of a new video release from Culture Vannin.
It's believed people took them to the summit as a rental payment to Manannan, for living on his Island.
Sarah Quayle and her family are featured in the short film, and Sarah explains why they continue to observe the old custom.
You can view the new Culture Vannin video on the Manx Radio Portal.
