Offender pleads guilty
A 28 year old woman has been fined for driving without tax or changing registration details.
Alexandra Adrienne Pressly of Church Road in Ramsey pleaded guilty to both offences via a coroner’s admission.
Magistrates at Douglas Courthouse heard police spotted her car driving along Victoria Road in Douglas at around 7.30pm on Friday, January 4.
Automated checks revealed her tax ran out in June 2018, and so officers stopped her - when they questioned her, she told them she'd owned the car for around eight months but hadn't changed its registration.
Pressly was fined £300 and ordered to pay £50 costs.
