Facility due to open in early February
Breast care for thousands of women in the Isle of Man is about to be transformed.
A dedicated new breast unit will open at Noble's hospital in early February, offering an enhanced range of treatments and facilities.
It's expected all Island women will at some point be seen there - along with a few men each year diagnosed with breast cancer.
The centre has cost just over £1.5 million to build, furnish and equip - with every penny raised by the Manx public and businesses.
An appeal was launched just two years ago by the Manx Breast Cancer Support Group, whose members are current and former patients.
Chairman Julie Stokes says great care has been taken to ensure the unit is welcoming and comfortable:
