Driver and passenger trapped in car
Fire services from the south of the Island were called out last night (Sat) following an accident on Fishers Hill.
The incident happened just after 8pm when two vehicles collided.
The driver and a passenger were trapped in one of the cars and after consulting with paramedics, fire crews removed the driver's door to allow easier access.
Both occupants were safely removed and taken by ambulance to Noble's hospital, for treatment to their injuries.
Crews remained at the scene for around half an hour, but the road remained closed until 11pm to allow an accident investigation to take place and the road to be swept.
