Hugo Yates wants to see a more dependable government
Douglas North's first candidate has declared their intention to stand in the upcoming General Election.
Hugo Yates is a manager for part of the IT infrastructure for a multinational financial corporation.
He moved to the Island 20 years ago, and says he fell in love with its culture, its history and its people.
Hugo says he's standing to be a Member of the House of Keys because he wants a government that is not only relatable but dependable and approachable.
The election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
