Aim to strengthen build links in Willaston community
The first in a series of public meetings designed to strengthen and build links within the Willaston community will be held today (Wed 7 Nov).
They've been organised by the Willaston Community Forum, which is represented by Douglas Councillors, MHKs, the police, schools, and University College Isle of Man.
Lulu Gillow from UCM says she hopes the meetings will help bring old and young members of the community together and tackle issues such as loneliness.
The first meeting todfay was at 2pm and the second is at 7pm, both held in the community room on the first floor of the Manor Hotel in Willaston.
