First time buyer support to be discussed in House of Keys

18 questions tabled for House of Keys sitting

The House of Keys will face questions about support for first time home buyers and the Manx Grand Prix today.

There are 18 questions tabled for answer.

As chair of the Housing and Communities Board, Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas will be asked by Jason Moorhouse what progress has been made on first time buyer support. 

Fellow Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Tim Glover, wants to know which stakeholders were consulted about the new MGP programme.

Three weeks ahead of his first Budget Treasury Minister David Ashford will be asked his policy on progressive taxation.

And Rushen MHK Dr Michelle Haywood wants to know how the Green Living Grant is progressing while the Climate Change Transformation Board chair, Daphne Caine, will be asked to talk about space heating.

The sitting gets underway at 10am.
