An Island scallop fisherman is set to splash out after scooping a quarter of a million pounds on a scratchcard.
Twenty-five year old Aaron Dickinson from Douglas bought the £2 National Lottery GameStore card at a Spar shop in the capital.
He'd just won the £2 stake after buying a card with the change in his pocket - and decided to spend it on another card as he was 'feeling lucky'.
Aaron says the win means he can now put down a deposit on his own home - something he never thought would happen.
He won't be giving up fishing as a living as he plans to buy a scallop boat and start his own business.
