Warning after kayakers experienced strong tidal conditions

It comes after the Port St Mary RNLI team picked up two kayakers who experienced strong tidal conditions after they had launched from Derbyhaven bay.

Offshore winds can be dangerous and the coastguard warns that if the flags are 'flying out to the sea, don't go out'.

The Isle of Man Coastguard is also warning people on Jet Ski's to avoid bathing areas.
