Floods and snow forecast as Met Office issues yellow warning

Weather warning in place from 6pm today until Wednesday morning

The Island's Met Office is warning of the risk of localised floods and heavy rain over the next three days.

A yellow warning will come into force at 6pm today, and will remain in place until Wednesday morning.

Forecasters say the rain could turn to sleet or snow overnight from Tuesday into Wednesday, resulting in accumulations over higher ground.

The UK Met Office has officially named the weather system Storm Christoph.
