Flytippers could be fined £2,500 under Public Health Act

Decision to close amenity sites not government's says CM

People responsible for fly tipping could be fined up to £2,500 if caught.

Investigations are currently underway after rubbish was dumped at spots in Ballaugh and Eairy Cushlin. 

It’s prompted the Isle of Man Government to issue a reminder about the penalties which can be imposed under the Public Health Act. 

Amenity sites around the Island are currently closed due to lockdown restrictions.
