Minister apologises after department blocks request
Businesses which apply for taxpayer funded support are being warned the details of their applications could be disclosed in the future.
The Department for Enterprise says a recent Freedom of Information ruling – which ordered it to disclose money paid to a former chief minister – could have 'wider implications'.
It's apologised after blocking an FOI request which later showed that a tourism business, jointly owned by Howard Quayle, received more than £57,000 in Covid support.
Minister Alex Allinson says policies will now be reviewed:
