Forensic psychiatrist to continue evidence at murder trial

The Ian Anderson murder trial will continue hearing from a forensic psychiatrist today.

Dr Puri, called as an expert witness for the defence, began his evidence yesterday.

Having interviewed Mr Anderson at length last year, Dr Puri told the court he likely had a personality disorder, which had affected his behaviour, at times, throughout his life.

Mr Anderson was described as being prone to acting impulsively, quarrelsome behaviour, angry and violent outbursts and unstable and capricious moods.

He denies murdering 60-year-old Ballabeg man Neil Roberts in late 2013.

The trial is due to continue at Douglas courthouse at 10 o' clock this morning.
