Garff MHK Daphne Caine quit the role on Thursday
Government's former children's champion says she and the chief minister appear to fundamentally disagree over what the role should entail.
Garff MHK Daphne Caine announced yesterday she was leaving the post, 18 months after taking it on.
The remit of the role has, rather abruptly, been reduced significantly, following discussions in the Council of Ministers.
Mrs Caine doesn't believe that should have been done.
