Planning and police complaints among topics
In a time-honoured tradition, petitioners were invited to step up and present their Petitions for Redress at Tynwald.
Four were brought forward:-
Trevor Cowin on reform of the planning appeal system.
Ged Power on police independent complaints procedures.
Robert Hendry on child social care.
And a further one on Dandara and property development.
The Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney invited them to approach the hill at the end of the ancient ceremony:-
"Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital is not at risk of closure"
