A fourth candidate has announced their plans to stand for election in Arbory, Castletown and Malew.

Abby Quirk is a business owner in Ballasalla.

If elected, she says her priorities would be mental health, making the criminal justice system more clear for victims, and support for small businesses.

Abby says: "This isn’t a decision I’ve taken lightly. Over the past few years, I’ve found myself campaigning on issues that have affected my own family and many others across the Island.

"I’' not standing because I think I have all the answers. I’m standing because I’ve lived through these challenges, I’ve spent years advocating for others, and I believe people deserve representatives who understand what life is really like."

Also standing in the constituency are Juan Christian, Mark Firth and Kirrie Jenkins.

The General Election is taking place on Thursday 24 September.
