Calls for financial support for processing sector
The amount of freezer space for fish stocks on the Isle of Man is a ‘limiting factor’ on the contribution the industry can make to government coffers.
That’s the view of the chief executive of the Manx Fish Producers Organisation who has called for more financial support for the processing sector.
David Beard says it’s something impacting on the Island’s Gross Domestic Product.
