Large Manx contingent heading to Lorient
An international celebration of Celtic culture kicks off this weekend, with a Manx twist.
The Lorient Interceltique Festival is celebrating the Isle of Man and Cornwall as its joint honoured nations for the first time in its 45-year history.
The festival welcomes more than 800,000 people to Brittany in France annually and there'll be more than 100 Manx performers there this year.
Culture Vannin Director Breesha Maddrell says most Manx people aren't aware how big the festival is:
Peel Commissioner at centre of row would 'welcome' external investigation
"It had to be big": Family to run five ultra marathons in cousin's memory
Two sailings cancelled, more in doubt
Future of Hospice shops secure, says charity boss
